“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6 – the words that inspired us over thirty years ago to begin a preschool of seven children in 1980 to what has grown into our present Kimber Hills Preschool ministry to children from age one and a half through eighth grade. Looking back as the only teacher who is still on staff, I can testify to God’s faithfulness in fulfilling this promise.
Our mission statement says that we are dedicated to academic excellence and quality instruction while recognizing the God-given uniqueness of each child, and are committed to partnering with parents to nurture each child spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We have seen this lived out over and over again throughout the years producing dedicated Christian young people. After thirty years of ministry many of our former students have returned to us to become KHP teachers, FCC ministers, pastors, building and grounds personnel, and parents of second-generation students. What a joy it is to have the fruits of our labor ministering along with us now.
At this time of year when families begin planning for next fall, we would like to invite you to consider KHP as the foundation of an education that is distinctly Christian, an advantage for your child’s future. As it says in Proverbs, what they learn now is for a lifetime.
Now, for a Lifetime…
